In doing various google searches about electric guitar necks, I decided that making my own was a bit out of my league. So I bought an unfinished guitar neck on Ebay, from CkoGuitars.com.
I ended up buying an electric guitar neck for a Les Paul guitar, which is made of Mahogany, with a Rosewood fretboard. It has 22 frets, and has a scale length of 24 3/4 inches. The nut width is 1.695" and has a fretboard radius of 12 inches.
The fret wire on this neck is known as jumbo frets. It is supposed to make it easier to bend the strings. I hope so!
